Summer Literacy Program Registration
The Summer Literacy Program is designed for young people entering grades 1-8. In the past, parents have found this experience helpful for readers and writers with various strengths and areas for growth.
- June 9th -July 31 , 2025 | Monday-Friday | Online/Remote |
- For children currently in 1-8 grade
- Literacy Fee: We will offer the remote learning experience at no cost as long as you and your child are committed to participating.
- Registration Fee: Parents must register their children to participate. The registration fee is $25 only. This fee is non-refundable.
- Location: Kenner, LA
- Main Focus: Math, English, and Lifeskills
This year, students will be enrolled in an online literacy course and assigned a coordinator/instructor for ongoing support. The instructors will conduct assessments to determine students’ areas of strength and growth and provide appropriate instruction accordingly. Regular check-ins via Zoom or phone will provide guidance and instructions. If necessary, face-to-face tutoring will also be offered.
The program will cover core subjects: Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
Instructors will also prepare progress monitoring and final reports for you and any school personnel you choose to receive them.

Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to students experiencing reading difficulties.
